Pyrogen

Is any producing agent of fever, 1 that is to say, substances that acting on the centers thermoregulators of the hypothalamus produce a temperature rise (fever). Generally they are molecules of high molecular weight and polymeric nature, like the lipopolysaccharides. (PIROGENO).
